Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Quant Designs LLC ("Quant Designs", "we", "us") collects through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Who we are
Quant Designs LLC, a Montana limited liability company, 2548 Milkhouse Ave, Bozeman, MT 59718. Questions about this policy or your data go to info@quantdesigns.io.
What we collect
- When you send us a message. The contact form opens your own email app. We receive what you choose to send: usually your name, work email, company and a description of your project.
- When you book a call. Booking happens on Google Calendar, in a new tab. Google collects your name, email and the time you pick and shares them with us so we can send the invite. Google's handling of that data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
- When you load the page. Like every website, our hosting provider automatically records technical request data (IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) in server logs used for security and reliability.
What we don't do
- This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
- Fonts and images are served from this site, so loading a page does not send your data to third parties such as Google.
- We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
How we use it
Only to reply to you, schedule and hold the call you asked for, scope and quote a project, and, if we work together, run that engagement. Under the GDPR, our legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Who else handles it
Our email provider, Google (for bookings) and our hosting provider process data on our behalf to provide those services. We don't give it to anyone else unless the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to a project are deleted within 24 months of our last contact. If we work together, project correspondence is kept for as long as tax and contract law require. Server logs are kept by the hosting provider for a short period, typically no more than 30 days.
Where it is processed
We are based in the United States, and the providers above may process data in the United States. If you write to us from the EU or UK, your data is transferred to the US so that we can reply to you.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email info@quantdesigns.io and we will respond within 30 days. We won't treat you differently for asking.
If you are in the EU or UK, you can also object to processing, ask for a portable copy of your data, and complain to your local data protection authority. California residents have the rights to know, delete and correct personal information under the CCPA/CPRA. As noted above, we don't sell or share it.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update it here and change the effective date above.
